| Mee-ko, Taiwan My Child doll |
  I
bought this My Child doll knowing that I would not be able to restore
it back to original.
The doll had the eyes removed at some point and the eye sockets had
close so eye would not fit flush into the head. After giving the doll a
much needed bath, I fixed all the stitching on the body and gave her
a chin tuck to remove the skin sag that had formed under her chin.
She than had 6 layers of white paint added to the face to remove all
traces of the original makeup and to give her a clean blank face.
The
eye sockets had a piece of My Child skin added so you couldn't see
the original holes from the pupils and giving her the BLACK eye hole
look that I was after.

The wig was stitched on by hand and the fringe cut to length. The boots
wouldn't fit the doll normally so I had to remove some of the stuffing
in the feet to make them fit. The outfit was made by myself with the
little apple added to complete the doll.
